CRM, CRL, CRG Special Edition — Get ’em while you can!

Unbelievably, January 2015 marks the 5th anniversary of the introduction of the AudioMachina CRM, which has since gained a well-deserved reputation as the finest bookshelf speaker ever made. It’s hard to believe it’s been 5 years already, but in that time the CR line has grown to include the CRL (big brother to the CRM), the CRG (quite possibly the finest 3-way mini-monitor in the world), and the CRS (the amazing matching powered subwoofer for any of the CR monitor speakers). Not only is the CR line our most popular, but it has introduced hundreds of music lovers around the world to the joys of AudioMachina, the finest loudspeakers in the world.

So, in celebration of the mighty-mite CRM’s 5th birthday and the beginning of the CR line, AudioMachina is pleased to announce a very limited production run of a very special version of the CR monitors, the SE (Special Edition) project. These will be an ultra-exclusive and ultra-high-end version of the standard CR monitors, and will include:

Premium Mundorf Supreme Silver/Oil Capacitors in all locations.
Premium Mundorf Supreme Film Resistors in all locations.
Special High-Purity Silver (Ag) Solder throughout.
Special “SE” Burgundy (Red Wine) Color Grille Covers.

Production of the “SE” Special Edition will be strictly limited to five (5) pairs each of CRM SE, CRL SE, and CRG SE. Each pair will include the “SE” designation and will be individually serial numbered “1 OF 5”, “2 OF 5”, etc. Not only will these SE versions be ultra-high performance, but each will be highly exclusive, very rare, and likely to become quite valuable over time. We will not incorporate the “SE” features into our normal production versions, in order to protect the investment quality of these remarkable speakers.

We will take orders for the Special Edition (SE) versions beginning on January 1, 2015, and orders will be taken and filled on a “first come, first served” basis. Because of the highly limited production of these models, we will require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of purchase price for each pair ordered, due within 5 business days of order confirmation. In order to continue to demonstrate the extremely high “quality and performance per dollar” of all AudioMachina speakers, and to make the CR SE monitors an excellent choice for both long-term musical enjoyment and long-term investment, the CR SE versions will be only modestly more expensive than the standard CR monitors upon which they are based.

Furthermore, for any simultaneous order of a pair of “SE” monitors with a pair of CRS powered subwoofers and a pair of CR Master Stands, we will supply the CRS grille covers custom-made in the matching Burgundy color as well, at no extra charge.

Lastly, every pair of CR SE monitors will include a free 3m (10′) pair of the amazing AudioMachina SE (“Simply Excellent”) loudspeaker cables. These are based on proprietary design principles which I discovered many years ago, during an intensive research program into the most important characteristics for highest performance in audio cables. While deceptively simple-looking, these cables will perform at the same level as (or, in many cases, higher than) high-end cables costing as much as our speakers. We do not sell these cables at retail, preferring to stay within our best market, which is to produce the world’s finest loudspeakers. However, as a special favor to those musical connoisseurs who purchase a CR Special Edition system, these cables will be the final “cherry of top” of one of the best loudspeaker systems in the world.
